Become a volunteer at Aulus Coliving

We are looking for volunteers to help with the house. We can accommodate up to 2 volunteers at the same time.

Current availability

  • 1 volunteer from August to end of October 2026

  • 2 volunteers from January 2027

Requirements

  • Working hours: 15-20h per week.

  • You can either come solo, as a couple, or as friends.

  • Ideally, you’d stay for a minimum of 2 months (we could make exceptions for less than that, but definitely not less than one month) as it takes a bit of time to get used to the space and to get a good routine.

  • Fluent in English, French is not needed.

What you’ll do

Even though there are always different things to do, we try to be as clear as possible with what’s required:

  • About half the work time is to keep the space tidy and clean (shared spaces, and also rooms once per week).

  • Then, you could be helping with checkins/checkouts, answering colivers’ questions, facilitating some activities, organizing family dinners and grocery orders, etc.

  • Bonus: depending on your skills and passions, you may also help with whatever you feel like doing (as long as it helps the coliving and the community). For example: yoga classes, organize workshops, take some nice photos/videos, etc. Note that if you apply for something like this, you’ll still have to work on the previous points, but, everything included, you won’t do more than 15-20h total in a week.

The schedule is mostly flexible (with some limitations), so if you have a half time job or a project you’re working on, we can surely accommodate.

What you get

  • Bed in a shared room (only two beds) with a private bathroom (only shared with the other volunteer)

  • Access to all the shared spaces and community events

  • All utilities are covered, and you have the same perks as all the other colivers

  • Free laundry

Help decorate the place - artists wanted

Our idea for the space is to decorate it with art from people who’ve been to Aulus. This way, the house becomes a living story, and each frame/photo/painting/brodery/etc is here because of a reason.

If you feel like you could contribute this way, please contact us and tell us what kind of art you could do. Also please include a link to your portfolio. We could work something out in terms of you staying for free in exchange for creating some art.
