The House
Welcome home
Let’s get a tour of all the spaces you get access to in Aulus Coliving. We’re trying to provide you with everything that will make you feel at home in those mountains.
In Aulus you’ll find a place to rest, a place to work, and shared spaces to enjoy with others.
Note: as the coliving is still quite new, some spaces still need a bit of work to look great. We are constantly working on this and will update the photos as we go. No worries though, everything mentioned here is 100% functional.
Cosy rooms for a good sleep
There are currently 9 rooms, for a 10-15 person capacity. Not overcrowded, perfect for a cosy family feeling. All the rooms are ensuite, which we know is important if you’re staying for a longer time.
Everyone says they sleep so well in Aulus. We get fresh mountain air, and humidity is never too high.
Each room has:
Comfortable double bed (2 single beds for shared room)
Desk and chair
Very good Wi-Fi reception
Storage for your belongings
Private bathroom
Bed sheets, towels
Weekly cleaning is included
Nice view on the mountains around the coliving
And yes, we do have additional power strips, hair dryers, and if something is missing, just ask and we’ll see if we can add it :)
More info about the different room types on the booking page.
Working areas built for productivity
We have plenty of places from where you can work. We know that different people have different needs and preferences. Whether you like to work on the outside, in a crowded and lively place, or in a quiet place with not too much light (then people will call you a caveman, speaking from experience), there is a space for you.
We want to make sure you can focus and get your work done, so then you can fully enjoy the life at Aulus.
Quick facts:
1gbps fiber optic internet, with a fully optimised Ubiquity setup, and Wi-Fi access points on each floor.
Ergonomic desks and chairs, plus extra monitors you can use for free.
Coworking spaces
You can work from 2 different coworking spaces, a silent one on the 1st floor (with a gorgeous view on the mountains), and one where you can talk and make calls on the ground floor.
Extra working spaces
Basically, all shared spaces can also be working spaces. We have several spots inside the house that can be used as workstations: high table, dining table, sofas, …
Working from your room
Each room contains a desk and a comfortable chair you can work from. If you prefer some quiet time on your own, or have an important/confidential call to make, this is the place.
The garden and balconies
Even though we provide all the previous facilities, we know it’s very probably you’ll work from there anyway… No need to explain, a photo will do the job here.
Now, the spaces are important, but what’s even more important is the community aspect of the coliving.
How we design the space
The philosophy here is simple: to build a space that gives you have the best possible experience, and to tell a story of the people who’ve been here. All of that, while staying true to our principles in the making. We value working with talented people, friends, and local artists.
For interior design (and the logo) we hired Maria from Spain (MariaSinVerguenza), she previously successfully helped other coliving with their space. She has lived in a coliving for a long time and understands very well the needs of colivers. She managed to design a super cosy place, while keeping things simple and, whenever possible, reusing instead of replacing.
Also, the idea for decorating the space is to fill the it with art, made by friends and local artists. Here are a few art pieces we already got. If you feel like you could contribute, drop us an email. The place is big, and there are still lots of available spots!
